Merry Christmas!!

The Birth of Jesus from the book of Luke (NIV)
1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.  4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.
21 On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he was conceived.

And how many do the Democrats and Republicans need?  a whopping 2,000 !!

Pennsylvania 2012 Statewide Minor Party & Independent Petition Likely to be 21,500 signatures

November 9th, 2011
The number of signatures for a statewide minor party or independent candidatea in Pennsylvania in 2012 is likely to be approximately 21,500 signatures. The number is determined by calculating 2% of the vote cast on November 8, 2011, for David Wecht for Superior Court Judge. With 99% of the precincts reporting, Wecht has 1,017,499 votes. Besides the missing 1% of the precincts, his total will probably also rise when provisional ballots are tallied.

Are You Getting Ready?

Plan NOW To Attend The 2012
Constitution Party National Convention!!!

**************************************
You Might Ask...

"Why should I attend the CP National Convention and
what goes on at a National Convention, anyway?"
A National Convention is not just some "big meeting" or  "great event" to come to "if you can make it."  There are several important reasons why you should make it a personal priority to be in Nashville next April to attend the 2012 Constitution Party National Convention:

1) The National Convention only occurs once every four (4) years and, as a body, it constitutes the highest authority of the party--the rank and file members from all across the nation-- so decisions made at the convention are of critical importance.

Endowed or Entitled - Your Choice

by Peg Luksik
http://www.constitutionparty.com/news.php?aid=1388
Once upon a time there were two brothers. The older would, by birthright,
inherit all that his father owned. A day came when the older wanted
something to eat. He had been outside all day, and was hungry. The younger
had a meal already prepared. The older asked the younger to give him the
dinner. The younger agreed, on the condition that the older would give up
his birthright in return for the free meal. The older took the deal, gave
up his birthright, and ate.

Most of us recognize the story. And we scratch our heads at a person who
would give away an entire birthright for one meal.

We shouldn’t. We are just like him.

America was founded on the recognition that each of us has a birthright of
endowed and unalienable rights. Like all birthrights, it brings the promise
of opportunity and blessing, provided that we honor the responsibility of
protecting and cherishing it. Our birthright cannot legitimately be taken
from any of us, but each of us can choose to give it away. If enough of us
make that choice, the birthright’s promise will be lost to all of us.

Sadly, many Americans are making that choice. They are selling their
birthright of endowed rights for the free meal of government entitlements.
And like the older brother in the story, they are convincing themselves that
their immediate needs are so important that meeting them is worth what they
are losing.

A quote for the times

"When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing; when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors; when you see that men get rich more easily by graft than by work, and your laws no longer protect you against them, but protect them against you. . . you may know that your society is doomed." Pa ballot access lawsuit news

 via: ballot access news

Pennsylvania: on May 19, the 3rd circuit ruled that the Constitution, Green, and Libertarian Parties lack standing to challenge the state’s unique system of charging fees of up to $110,000, if they submit a petition that turns out not to have enough valid signatures. The decision also says they also don’t have standing to sue over the requirement for ongoing ballot status, that they have registration of 15% of the state total; and that they don’t have standing to challenge the policy in some counties to discard all write-in votes.

Constitution Party on taxes

The Constitution, in Article I, Section 8, gives Congress the power "to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts, and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States."

In Article I, Section 9, the original document made clear that "no Capitation, or other direct Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census of Enumeration herein before directed to be taken." It is moreover established that "No Tax or Duty shall be laid on Articles exported from any State."
Since 1913, our Constitutional rights to life, liberty, and property have been abridged and diminished by the imposition on each of us of Federal income, payroll, and estate taxes. This is an unconstitutional Federal assumption of direct taxing authority.
The Internal Revenue Service is the enforcement arm of the Federal government's present unjust tax system. Citizens, both in groups and as individuals, have repeatedly sought responses from the IRS bureaucracy as to the basis for the agency's tax policies and procedures. No answers have been forthcoming although a responsible government must be answerable to the people and has a duty to those it is supposed to serve.

Not in Your Back Yard?

From Parentalrights.org

This week is National Backyard Games Week, a time to remember the games you played as a child and pass them on to the next generation. But be sure you take the chance now, before those games are outlawed.

According to several news stories1 including this one from Time, a New York state law passed in 2009 and scheduled to take effect this summer will have the state Department of Health (DOH) set a list of games “with significant risk of injury” to kids. Games included on the list will require additional state oversight and even licensure for camps or child care providers hosting the games. As recently as last month, the list included red rover, wiffle ball, kickball, any variety of tag, and other childhood favorites.

Fortunately, the DOH has pulled the list for now and promised a whole new guide book. But the law remains, and the new guidelines are still unknown.

The very fact that the DOH has such power in the first place is troubling, and would become much more so if the United States were to ratify the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).

That’s because the CRC asserts that “In all actions concerning children…the best interests of the child shall be a primary consideration,” and “that a child shall not be separated from his or her parents against their will, except when competent authorities … determine…that such separation is necessary for the best interests of the child.” (CRC articles 2 and 9, emphasis added) No showing of abuse or neglect is needed, no imminent danger to the child. Allowing a child to play a game which the government has deemed to involve “significant risk of injury” to kids could certainly be sufficient cause to have your child removed from your custody.

After all, what parent would allow their child to play a game that comes with “significant risk of injury,” such as freeze tag or kickball? Well, besides yours and mine, I mean....
Action Items
Please pass this on to other concerned parents or grandparents and ask them to visit parentalrights.org to sign the petition. Also, donate to help us prevent ratification of that dangerous treaty by passing the Parental Rights Amendment. Our organization is completely donor funded, so we depend on your support to fuel our success.

Sincerely,

Michael Ramey

been providing sound financial advice to Americans for thirty-one years.
The threats to our financial well-being have never been greater. Our
government has been hijacked by Wall Street, socialists, and other special
interest groups. The Constitution has been ignored and trampled upon by
all three branches of government. And, as the Global Economic Crisis
continues, the media and our government are telling us that everything
is fine and that the crisis is over.

Former head of CFR..

"Some even believe we are a part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty and I am proud of it." - David Rockefeller from his book, David Rockefeller: Memoirs

Rick Warren is a member of the CFR.

Careful reading of the Time article has many hints that his Christianity is not the Christianity of our fathers. But there is one clue that tells us all we need to know.

In America, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is the primary promoter of the the “New World Order” internationalism once praised by the first President Bush and is linked with several other similar organizations around the world to promote a one world government under a form of socialism. It is an elitist organization. One cannot be a member of the CFR and not realize that their policies lead to the abrogation of the Constitution, sovereignty, and independence of the United States. David Rockefeller, who has admitted in his biography that he is part of a cabal to bring about a one world government, was the chairman for 15 years.

Rick Warren is a member of the CFR.

Obama has surrounded himself, just as Bush did, with members of the CFR. In addition, Obama has shown a propensity to also surround himself with people who came out of the radical and terrorist movement of the 1960s and 1970s, and, in the process the CFR controlled media has made it appear as if it is all centrist politics.

When you know and understand the details, it’s a lot easier to know just who Obama -- and Warren -- are pandering to in all of this, and who’s goals they are furthering.

HAPPY EASTER!!!!!

JESUS HAS RISEN!!
1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.  2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
11 While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. 12 When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, 13 telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ 14 If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” 15 So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The Constitution Party ..... some history and facts.

HISTORY
1992 A coalition of independent state parties united to form the U.S. Taxpayers Party. The party’s founder, Howard Phillips, was on the ballot in 21 states as its first presidential candidate.
1995-99 Party recognized by Federal Election Commission as a national party bringing the number of recognized parties to 5. Ballot access achieved in 39 states for the 1996 elections, representing over 80% of the electoral college votes available.
1999 Name changed to “Constitution Party” by delegates at the National Convention to better reflect the party’s primary focus of returning government to the U.S. Constitution’s provisions and limitations.
2000 & 2004 The party achieved ballot access in 41 and 36 states respectively. Though the party was on fewer state ballots in 2004, the vote tally increased by 40% compared to the 2000 elections while other ‘alternative’ parties lost ground or barely matched their 2000 vote totals.
2008 The Constitution Party was on the ballot in 37 states. Presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin and vice-presidential candidate Darrell Castle, endorsed by former GOP presidential candidate, Congressman Ron Paul, polled a higher percentage of the vote than any other Constitution Party presidential ticket in 27 states for a total of 199,314 votes.

NUMBERS
The CP is the third largest political party in terms of voter registration. There are 367,000 registered Constitution Party voters. (This number does not take into account the many states which do not tally voter registrations by party. In addition, thousands of voters registered with other parties have chosen to vote for Constitution Party candidates at the national, state and local levels.)

Obama, Clinton, and Biden Agree: War on Libya Is Unconstitutional

by Michael Tennant
The New American
What a difference an election makes. The man who just singlehandedly committed the United States to war against Libya, President Barack Obama, told the Boston Globe in 2007:
The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.
In this Obama was absolutely correct. What, then, explains his reversal? Three possibilities exist: (1) he never believed that the Constitution constrains the President from initiating war but said he did in order to get elected; (2) he believed it in 2007 but changed his mind upon taking office; or (3) he believed it in 2007 and still believes it but thinks he can get away with violating his oath of office because Congress is too timid to put the brakes on the mission now that it is under way. None of these puts the President in a particularly good light.
Obama is not the only member of his administration to have previously opposed presidential war-making. His Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, was also questioned by the Globe when she was running for President and had this to say:

Pa State Committee meeting a success

Around 50 people attended the Pa state meeting this past Saturday. Some of the speakers were James Manship , Charles Kraut (author of "The Patriots Guide to taking America Back) and Joel Sears (Pa coalition of Taxpayers association). The keynote speaker for the night was State Senator John Eichelberger. All of the speakers were very good and stayed to talk and answer some questions.

Business focused on running local candidates and building county parties. There were some by-law changes that focused on adding the regional chairmen to the executive committee and having some oversight on the state website.

A date was set for the next meeting. It is on October 8th, 2011 at the Park Inn, Mechanicsburg
Dont forget to attend the National Committee meeting. It is in Harrisburg this year on April 29-30.

DHS: We Have the Authority to Routinely Strip-Search Air Travelers

The Department of Homeland Security told a federal court that the agency believes it has the legal authority to strip-search every air traveler. The agency made the claim at oral argument in EPIC's lawsuit to suspend the airport body scanner program. The agency also stated that it believed a mandatory strip-search rule could be instituted without any public comment or rulemaking. EPIC President Marc Rotenberg urged the Washington, DC appeals court to suspend the body scanner program, noting that the devices are "uniquely intrusive" and ineffective. EPIC's opening brief in the case states that the Department of Homeland Security "has initiated the most sweeping, the most invasive, and the most unaccountable suspicionless search of American travelers in history," and that such a change in policy demands that the TSA conduct a notice-and-comment rule making process. The case is EPIC v. DHS, No. 10-1157. For more information, see EPIC: EPIC v. DHS and EPIC: Whole Body Imaging Technology.

Idaho House First to Nullify ObamaCare

Written by Larry Greenley
Friday, 18 February 2011 11:00

On Wednesday, February 16, the Idaho House became the first state legislative body to pass a measure to nullify the entire ObamaCare law within a state.
The measure, HB117, was sent to the state Senate by a vote of 49-20. Only seven Republicans voted against the bill along with all of the House Democrats.
The Associated Press reported:
Idaho's bill declares the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act unconstitutional and forbids enforcement of penalties against residents. It also prohibits Idaho state and local governments from enforcing the federal law and also bars them from taking federal money — or using their own resources — to put the measure into effect.
According to the bill's sponsor, Rep. Vito Barbieri: "The bottom line is, we're directing the state agencies to stop spending time and money."

Is the Cold War Back On?

January 19, 2011
President Barack Obama and Chinese President Hu Jintao in China
This is the week of the 50th anniversary of President Eisenhower’s famous speech in which he warned the nation to beware of what he called “the military industrial complex.” He was talking about the military leaders joining with leaders of the arms industry for the purpose of expanding their budgets in order to line their own pockets and greatly expand their power over American foreign policy.
President Eisenhower probably remembered the end of WWII, just 15 years before his speech, when the United States stood at the top of world power as no nation had ever stood before. With 12 million men under arms, the only nation with nuclear weapons and a proven disposition to use them, with Europe in ruins and the Soviet Union with millions of dead, who could challenge the United States?

Chuck Baldwin Makes News In Montana

Chuck Baldwin speaks during his Liberty Bell Meeting to a packed house at the Outlaw Inn in Kalispell.

Former Constitution Party Presidential Candidate draws massive crowd to Outlaw Inn

Baldwin: ‘There’s a Fight Coming’

Read all about it at: www.flatheadbeacon.com/articles/article/baldwin_theres_a_fight_coming/21438/Constitution Party News and Information particularly appreciated the parts where Chuck, "castigated the Republican Party for failing to overturn Roe v. Wade and outlaw abortion during the six years when the White House and Congress were under GOP control..and, when asked if he was "anti-government"  replied: “I am anti-oppressive, unconstitutional government.”
People are already speculating whether Chuck Baldwin will run for Governor of Montana.  We don't know what Chuck will do, but we do know that these United States of America would be much better off if he had been elected President in 2008 and we definitley know that, with Chuck Baldiwn as its Governor, Montana would be a beacon of liberty that would give hope to freedom loving people all over the world!
