Guests: Rep. David Levdansky, Majority Chair, PA House Finance Committee
Rep. Steven Nickol, Minority Chair, PA House Finance Committee
This is a good chance for us to call in and bring up the consitutionality of the property tax. Read your constitutions and be prepared for them to dodge the constitution. Remember they have an oath of office to obey.

Local freshmen representatives charge the public for their "outreaches"
The Tribune-Review reports the spending of some incoming lawmakers. It should come as no suprise that the two new democrats billed the taxpayer for their little "outreach". It is this kind of behavior that needs to be removed from Harrisburg. Rep. Wagner and Rep. Smith should be ashamed of themselves for billing the public after running a campaign to the contrary. I wonder if the public will hold them to their oaths of office or will the public get worn down by such actions? Will the public have the courage to vote them out if this continues or will they allow their behavior to fester in Harrisburg and get worse?
I should point out that republican Rep. Marshall and democrat Rep. Bennington paid for a modest "outreach" with out having to charge it to the public. That being said there are really only two choices next election. One is to continue to hope for honorable candidates from the two major parties or Two is to vote for a constitution party candidate. If there is no constitution party candidate at least look for someone who will obey their oath of office and has studied the constitution.
Lets hope that the people of Pennsylvania hold all of their public officials accountable and make them obey the oath of office they swore to uphold.

Council of Censors
This is the proposal that Hagan Smith Has created back in October 2006 and is asking legislators and senators to adopt. As expected they do not wish to do so. We need as many people as possible to inundate the Phone lines of your elected representatives and push them to add this to the Constitution for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through the Amendment Process.
Council of Censors
Pennsylvania 2007 Constitution, Article 1, Section 29
In order that the freedom of the people of this Commonwealth may be preserved inviolate forever, that the Public Officers of this Commonwealth be held responsible, accountable, and culpable for violation of the Contract (Pennsylvania Constitution) with we the people, and that the right for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to reinstate its sovereignty as a State Government, [be] reinstated, consistent with the United States Constitution.
There shall be chosen by ballot on the first Tuesday in November 2007 two persons in every City, Municipality and County, to be called and shall be known as the Council of Censors of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Those willing to serve on the Council shall have successfully taken a study course on both the U.S. and the Pennsylvania Constitutions. They shall meet on the third Monday of November in the year of 2007 to Elect a Chairman and establish the rules of the Council Meetings. Only private freemen citizens of Pennsylvania may serve on the Council of Censors. No public officials whether elected or appointed previously shall be permitted to serve on the Council.
A quorum shall be a simple majority of the elected members, EXCEPT IN CALLING A Constitutional Convention, in which case two thirds of the whole number shall agree. All members shall be required to attend all Council meetings, except emergency medical situations or death of a member of his or her family.
Their duty shall be to inquire whether the constitution has been preserved inviolate in every part; and whether the Judiciary, Legislative and Executive Branches of Government have performed their duty as guardians of the people, or assumed to themselves greater powers than they are entitled by the Constitutions.
They are also to enquire whether the public taxes have been justly laid and collected in all parts of this Commonwealth and in what manner the public monies have been disposed of.
They shall determine whether the laws have been duly executed.
For these purposes they shall have the power to send for persons, papers, records and hold hearings for questioning witnesses summoned before their committee.
They shall have authority to pass public censures, to order impeachments and to recommend to the Legislatures the repealing of such laws as appear to them to have been enacted contrary to the principles of the Constitutions.
The said Council of Censors shall also have the sole and exclusive power of calling a Constitutional Convention to meet within two years after their sitting if there appear to them to be an absolute necessity of amending any Article of the Pennsylvania Constitution which may be defective according to the principles of freedom, explaining such as may be thought not clearly expressed and adding such as are necessary for the preservation of the rights and happiness of the people.
But the Articles to be amended, and the Amendments proposed, and such Articles as are proposed to be added or abolished, shall be promulgated at least six months before the day appointed for the election of such Convention, for the previous consideration of the people, that they may have an opportunity of instructing their delegates on the subject.
They shall serve for four years during the term of their election and shall be replaced or re-elected by the freemen of Pennsylvania.
