Report from state committee meeting

The meeting was held in Hazelton and PA state chairman Hagan Smith hosted the meeting.

Jim Barr, southwest region chairman, gave a report on the organized counties in the region. Mercer County , in the northwest region, was recognized as a new organized county and chairman Ed Roberson spoke to the members.

Jim Barr(Allegheny co.) and Fritz Schom(Lancaster co.) were added to the executive committee.

Erik Kocher resigned as the state vice-chairman due to a demanding work schedule. Erik will be missed in this capacity but we look forward to seeing him more when his schedule lightens up a bit. Hagan Smih appointed Wes Thompson(Allegheny co.) as the new state vice chairman.

Two candidates in unorganized counties were endorsed for the 2007 election. The two endorsements were: Alan Kiser-Warren County Sheriff and Jay Russell for Bucks County commissioner.

Jim Clymer updated us on the national convention in Boise Idaho and stated that it was a spirited meeting with many good speakers. He encouraged every member to try to make it to a national committee meeting. Jim also announced that the next national meeting will be on October 26-27 in Omaha Nebraska(hotel is actually in Council Bluffs Iowa across the river). Check the national site for more information as it becomes available.

For the banquet, speakers were Hagan Smith(PA state chairman) and Jim Clymer(National chairman). Hagan spoke about freedom from the corporate govt. and Jim spoke about the North American Union and illegal aliens.
